Samsung Galaxy Fold is ready to launch in September, 2019
This is Simon, bringing news from Samsung India.
Samsung has recently told us that it is going to re-launch the Samsung Galaxy Fold device.
In a post recently posted Samsung has cleared that it had recently ran into some quality issues and there was delay in unfolding the Galaxy devices for its consumers. In its latest post in the Samsung India News room, it has told us that how important quality and other issues matter for the company before launching it to the public.
Samsung has stated that it is also performing some stringent quality tests and validating the proper workmanship and working of the devices.
Some of the key points that has been cleared in the post are:
Galaxy Fold features additional reinforcements to better protect the device from external particles while maintaining its signature foldable experience:
Samsung has come up with a new UX (user experience) for the consumers called Foldable UX as its unique feature allowing the users to use the app more conveniently.
- The top and bottom of the hinge area have been strengthened with newly added protection caps.
- Additional metal layers underneath the Infinity Flex Display have been included to reinforce the protection of the display.
- The space between the hinge and body of Galaxy Fold has been reduced.
My 2 cents are to wait for sometime and see whether Samsung really has solved the issues or not. More importantly, there is hardly one foldable phone out there in the market that had a successful launch. It is good to wait for sometime and see how this new and unique phone blooms.
Thank you for reading.
Have a spiffing day.
