I was invited to One Plus 7 Pro launch event on 14th May, 2019. I was one of those who had the opportunity to hold the mobile for first time in the world. I went to Bangalore on 14th of May, 2019 and was welcomed by the team members and they took us to BIEC, Bengaluru. I was amazed how much crowd it had attracted. All young and energetic minds and faces welcomed me and I was really happy.
As we got down from the bus we were asked to
show the QR code of the invitation and we were given with some freebies
along with some eateries. The freebies consisted of a t shirt, a black jersey.
The One Plus name and logo was printed on it and we wore and went inside.
To my surprise I saw the co-founder Carl Pei
was main presenter. It was an amazing scene out there with all the hardcore fans applauding
for the one plus community. He welcomed the community members and the new members of the family and started to explain how One Plus always stayed ahead over the time since its
inception.
I was amazed how a start up like One Plus stood
out in the crowd to be proven one of the best sellers in India and trying its
best to bring out quality in our daily driver. I was also amazed how the one plus
incorporated the best display of Samsung to One Plus 7 Pro, the AMOLED display.
The display has 90 Hz refresh rate. The phone has in-glass finger print reader. Unlike Samsung this
really stays old school not IR scanner. But the One Plus says that it can work
60% faster than One Plus 6T.
Coming to the camera, the phone has front pop
up camera and three rear cameras. The pop up camera really works charm and has
better version than the OPPO phones. One plus claims that it has checked the
phones camera motor durability for 12 hours continuously and it can be viewed
in YouTube. It also claims that if you use the camera for 50 times a day,
you can expect the motor to work for 16 years. That’s a huge claim from
the one plus.
Apart from camera the body is made of glass and
houses discrete cooling mechanism that will cool the devices for longer period
of high end gaming time.
The cherry on the cake is the phone that comes
with blue color.
There are different variants, viz., the one
plus 7 and one plus 7 pro. The one plus 7 comes little cheaper than the Pro. The
pro would cost you around 58k in India. And 7 costs around 34 to 38k.
One plus 7 Pro blue which is called Nebula Blue
is supposed to be released in India on 28th May, 2019.
