Artis – Swan Desktop Lamp L-130 – Unbox and review

You have a study table or a computer table and you’re looking for a good desktop lamp, well your search is over. Hi there, this is Simon from simonxpreview. Today, I will be sharing a few of my thoughts and experiences here in this post.
I was looking for a table lamp which should be small, yet powerful and should have flexible cable. As I did my research, I came across Amazon. To my surprise, there was this beautiful lamp that was neat, swanshaped, flexible cord, LED illuminated and was within my budget. The lamp is manufactured by a company called Artis. This lamp is what I feel the most ideal one around there. Of course, with the budget aspect.

Unbox –

The box it came was small about a foot long and ¼ ft. in width and breadth. The front portion has the picture of the lamp illuminated. And to the front - right there is a bar code and other details. To the left side, there are details pertaining to the lamp. And to the right side, information regarding manufacturing date, time and place are written. At the rear side, there is the lamp with black background and few parameters about the product. Once the top cover is opened, you will see the transparent cover housing this brilliant piece of lamp. The lamp is completely white – glossy white. It has the flexible cord which has memory stem. The cord can be bent in any direction, but just be careful not to break it. The light emitting portion has bunch of small LEDs which will work once the battery is charged. The front – top panel has a power button - basically it is a capacitive touch button, as in mobile. The bottom part is fitted with rubber, to hold stiff on the ground. There is small battery but powerful. The back portion has a small power plug-in port which supports 5v dc supply. The rest is glossy, curved and white chamfers.

The lamp is neat, decent, powerful, emits effective light, easy to charge, has flexible cord at its neck, and even comes with a USB charging cable. The lamp once charged will work flawlessly up to 6 hours. There after it might dim down a bit till another 2 hours and might run out of power. Initial charging is advised to 8 hours and later it will take 12 hours to charge. The lamp looks super cool on any desk. It pairs best with Apple computers or any other study table. The good thing about this lamp is that it won’t heat up. That means it won’t emit IR or UV rays. So, it keeps the environment cool. The LEDs are less power consuming and allows the lamp to work for more hours. The capacitive touch promises powering the lamp on or off very smooth. The lamp is small enough to fit in any place on your desk. The lamp can be connected to a USB port on the computer for safer and quick charge. The lamp can sometimes be used as an emergency light, however indoor use only. This device is not fit for outdoor use. This lamp can also be used as a bedside lamp too.

The capacitive button is also a pressure sensor. Once you touch the button it brightens to the maximum power, however you can dim it by pressing a little harder and a little longer. Thanks to new technology you can control the brightness. It can be used in day or at night without any interruption. It has a very good battery that supports the lighting for 6 – 8 hours. There is no mechanical switch. The lamp looks quite good on the desk and the brightness ranges in the cooler light radiation. That means you get real white light not warmer radiations.

Pros –

  • 14 pcs of LEDs work like a charm
  • Touch and pressure sensor for controlling the brightness
  • Free angle movement/adjustment (flexible cord)
  • Free from UV and IR radiations
  • Non-heating lighting element
  • Powerful 3.7v rechargeable battery
  • Charges via USB cable, which is included
  • Colour temperature is 5500 – 6500k which provides cool light
  • Can be used for desktop/workstation/bedside
  • Portability
  • Price is good, costs you around 1100/- INR (MRP is 1500/- INR)
  • Comes with a good packing, you can either order via home site or Amazon
  • The stand has standard white glossy finish which adds premium finish
Cons

  • More LEDs could have been added
  • Could have provided with a charger, universal
  • Could have had a better battery

Finally, if you’re in a budget and looking for a best one out there, your search is over. This L-130 promises to keep the regrets out. The lamp is genuine and works like a charm. The brightness is enough for one person to read or work with. It also has capacitive touch button to dim or increase the brightness. The cord is flexible for any movement and gives you tension free work environment. So, I recommend this product.

Thanks for reading the article.

Logitech M275 Mouse review

The all new Logitech M275 Mouse Hello everyone Simon here. And I am here to un-box, review and put my two cents. Let’s get started. I ordered a Logitech M275 Wireless mouse via Amazon . The price was catchy. Usually I do my shopping when lightning deals are up in the market. The price cut and new products are introduced at this moment. Yes, most important thing now in Indian Amazon market is that few electronic items like Mobile, Lamps, Monitors, TVs are all not eligible for a re-fund but qualified for an exchange. You need to send them back with all the original accessories with packing and they will send you another one once they get the product. [Unboxing] Once you remove the outer cover of Amazon packing you can see a very small box which houses a tiny mouse which has got lot slimmer and weighs less. Yes, the carton looks amazing with all the seller and import details. The MRP was stated as 1,195 INR for one quantity. However, I hit the ligh

TP-Link TL-WR940N Wireless N450 Home Router

TP-Link TL-WR940N Wireless N450 Home Router When it comes to wireless internet services it’s pretty hard to decide what’s the best router for home use. So here I am with the all new TP-Link Router. The router that I bought is TP-Link TL-WR940N Wireless N450 Home Router with 450 Mbps . It has 3 antennas. Before starting this topic, I’d like to let you know the difference between a router and a modem. MoDem  ( Modulator - De-modulator ) is a device which communicates with your internet service provider’s network and allows you to use the internet. This unit is compulsory for an internet connection to work. This may seem an important part of the internet setup. Coming to the Router, it’s the one which is connected to a modem and allows you to have multiple internet connections. This is an addition unit. You may want to use it , if you’ve more than one computer or devices. Also, the router comes with wireless technology. That means your internet connection can be use

Sony's MDR HW300K

Sony MDR HW300K Review Hello everyone, Simon here. Today I shall be Unboxing, reviewing and putting my two cents on Sony's MDR HW300K Wireless Headphone . When most of the people hear the name Sony all they can imagine is its sheer design, beauty and most importantly the new technology that it brings to the world. And now it's brought a new wireless headphone which is packed with power, super acoustic balance and also a sheer beauty to hold. Yes, of course all within the budget.  Headphones are inundating the market with no quality and bad design nowadays. With being said that I also want to the hold the opposite of it being true. Some good manufacturers are still producing very good headphones within budget and also over-budget. However, great things come at greater price. One of the headphones which literally put me off of my couch was MDR HW700DS . This headphone packs with sheer quality, power and superior sound reproduction. While saying that I need to
